About

Born and raised in Elizabeth NJ, I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts (Formerly Fine Arts) and I am also receiving my Makeup Artistry certificate as well at Montclair State University. I work with different types of mediums like acrylic on canvas, oil paint on canvas, and ceramic.

I first discovered more about art during COVID-19 when we were in lockdown and couldn’t go anywhere, so I started by practicing on sketches with color pencils or markers and that’s when I decided to try acrylic paint on canvas after being inspired and watching other artists on youtube. Now to this day, I prefer working on acrylic on canvas and each day I’m trying to get better and learn more techniques I didn’t know about that I could learn as an artist.

At Montclair State University, I have experimented with charcoal on newsprint paper, digital art with apps like photoshop, illustrator, etc. photography with an analog camera and processing photos in the darkroom, the printmaking process on paper and on textiles, ceramic techniques like the pottery wheel, accessory design, and makeup artistry classes in different stages like basic, advanced, and professional makeup.

I have had the opportunity to have my work exhibited in Finley gallery at Montclair State University and it was such an honor being part of it and people seeing my work and how they will interpret the message in my art.
